Dr. Jeannine Hopfensperger

I have a real passion for dentistry and the dental field gives me the unique ability to form long term mutually respectful relationships with wonderful patients and the artistic freedom to create beautiful smiles.  I think it is very important to give a person all their possible choices for treatment and have the final decision a mutual one.

I grew up in Midland, Michigan in a large family.  I attended undergrad at Wayne State and obtained a degree in biology and pre-dentistry.  I continued on to The University of Michigan School of Dentistry and graduated in 1980.  My husband, Tom, and I moved to Chesaning after graduation and I have been proud to serve this community ever since.

I am actively involved in organized dentistry and the community.  I am a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association and the Saginaw County Dental Society as well as a member of the Chesaning Chamber of Commerce.  I am dedicated to providing quality dental care to all people in need in a comfortable and relaxing environment.  I strive to stay up to date in skill and materials through attending various continuing education classes.  I have a deep belief in prevention of dental disease, utilizing noninvasive dental procedures whenever possible and customizing treatment for each patient.

My husband, Dr. Tom Teal and I have two beautiful girls who are the lights of our life!  They are both married and successful teachers.  I am also a very proud grandmother to three wonderful boys!  When I am not visiting my girls I enjoy spending time with family and friends, participating in book club, trivia night and other various community gatherings.  Chesaning has been a wonderful place to raise my family and I am proud to call it home.
